Biographies of Wind River Partner's Principals
As a co-founder of Wind River, Mr. Baldwin has focused on private placement activities for Wind River’s client companies.
Prior to founding Wind River, Mr. Baldwin spent 15 years in business operations. In 1975 he co-founded City Gardens, Inc., ultimately growing it to become the third largest interior landscaping company in the United States, with over 200 employees operating in seven states. Mr. Baldwin was responsible for managing company sales efforts, developing over 3,000 accounts. These included some of the nation’s largest and best-known financial institutions such as Fidelity Investments, John Hancock Life Insurance Co. and the Bank of Boston. In 1991 Mr. Baldwin and his partners sold City Gardens to a British firm.

John Bosley, Partner
As a co-founder of Wind River, Mr. Bosley has taken an active role with Wind River’s client companies both at the Board of Director level and with operating positions. He provides advisory services in the following areas: Corporate/business development, marketing and sales development, corporate finance/restructurings, private placement of equity and debt, exit and liquidity strategies, and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Bosley has, over the past seventeen years, also raised capital for both privately held companies and fund managers.
Prior to founding Wind River Partners, Mr. Bosley was engaged for 12 years in increasingly senior marketing and sales management positions in nationally known computer hardware and software companies, including a division of Litton Industries, Wang Laboratories, The Saddlebrook Corporation, and Ovation Technologies.
He has also served as Board Member and interim President of Sims Sports Inc., a company for which Wind River raised capital and invested and as a Board member of Rynel, Ltd., Inc.
Mr. Bosley currently serves as COO, Bonaire Software Solutions, one of Wind River Partners’ clients.
Mr. Bosley holds a B.A. from Ithaca College and an M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
